ITALIAN ICONS, BETWEEN MYTHS AND WONDERS

This is the theme of the third edition of “CidneOn – Festival Internazionale delle Luci”, a homage to Italy with light arts, video shows and mapping, interactive operas and live musical performances that tell the story of people, places, symbols of an unlimited history of art and beauty.

The successful pairing of Brescia Castle and light art will be renewed with an original and spectacular itinerary that will accompany the spectators from the prehistoric caverns of the Valle Camonica to the famous monuments, it will lead them to look afresh at fashion and design, it will win them over with original productions capable of reinterpreting with unedited visual languages art, literature, music and cinema rewriting the myth of Italy as a cultural superpower.

In the five hundredth anniversary of his death a special homage will be paid to Leonardo da Vinci in the form of an installation that will open the itinerary of the 2019 edition, creatively exploring the technical and artistic wonders originating from his manifold talents.
