Essen Light Festival

Already marking the period from October 25 to November 3, 2019. Then the Essen Light Festival in Essen's city center presents impressive light installations and video mappings by local and international artists on a route of more than 2 kilometers. In 2018, EMG counted around 300,000 visitors.

When the lights of the Essen Light Festival go out, the city goes on splendidly. From November 3rd, 2019 until January 5th, 2020 the Essener Lichtwochen will take care of that. The atmospheric motifs in the (pre) Christmas city sparkle with the eyes of the visitors to the bet.
