International LightArtFestival        Enchanted Gardens

Castle Gardens Arcen opens its gates for the International Light Art Festival Enchanted Gardens in the from Friday 12 till Sunday 21 October 2018 every evening. This year, an international light art Festival is held in the park to allow visitors to enjoy light artwork from various international artists.

Enchanted Gardens has been revamped this year, with light artwork playing the leading role. The Touring international light Art Festival that took place earlier in Brescia (IT), Koblenz (du) and at Schloss Dyck in Jüchen (du) attracted thousands of enthusiastic visitors who were impressed by the diverse art objects. During Enchanted Gardens, visitors walk through the entire park for an attractively illuminated route. During the route they will pass nine works of art, each of which has a prominent place in the gardens. An interactive cloud full of incandescent lamps, a field full of giant dandelions, a beautifully illuminated waterfall that flows in opposite directions, fluorescent lines stretched between trees or a visual piano game depicted on the Huge walls of Arcen Castle.
