About the event
Light designers and light artists from the Netherlands and abroad are invited to create a light artwork in and around Slot Zeist.
Slot Zeist is a seventeenth-century castle in the Dutch municipality of Zeist that was built as a pleasure retreat for Willem Adriaan van Nassau. The lock was designed by architect Jacobus Roman. The castle is surrounded by an English landscape park and the Broeder- en Zusterplein.
From 10 to 19 January, the Slot will be dedicated to the first International Light Art Festival. Since it involves the use of light and reflection, you can only visit the festival in the evening.
